Eastern Florida State College Fall Sports Teams Prepares for a Week of Marquee Matchups

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Big matchups highlight the week ahead for the Eastern Florida State College fall sports teams.
Two of the teams will open the conference season.
The 20th-ranked women’s volleyball team will open the Citrus Conference season on Wednesday, traveling to Miami Dade College for a battle of top 20 teams at 6 p.m.
The second-ranked Sharks are unbeaten this season at 10-0 and are 1-0 in the conference.
The Titans are 9-4 this season and are coming off a perfect weekend at the Blazer Classic at Vincennes University.
They will be back in action on Saturday afternoon, traveling to Fort Myers to face No. 1 Florida Southwestern at 2 p.m. in a conference match.
The No. 1 ranked men’s soccer team will also open conference play on Saturday night at Orlando Health Stadium.
The Titans, who are 5-0 on the season, will host No. 13 Daytona State College at 7 p.m. in the conference opener for both teams.
Daytona State College comes into the matchup 3-0 on the season.
Saturday night’s game will be televised on WEFS-TV which is channel 9 or 455 on Spectrum, 68 on DirecTV, 30 on Dish and 68 on AT&T Uverse and online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
The women’s soccer team has a big week ahead as the second-ranked Titans will hit the road for a couple of big games.
The Titans, who are 2-0 this season, will play No. 3 Tyler Junior College on Thursday night at 9 p.m. in Millbrook, Alabama. It will be a rematch of last season’s national tournament which the Titans won 3-2.
The women’s soccer team will then play Louisiana State University-Eunice at noon on Saturday in Alabama.
The cross country teams will be competing again on Friday as both teams will be at the UNF 5K Cross Country Challenge in Jacksonville.
Both teams had a solid debut with men’s cross country runner Adem Bouldjaj winning the individua title at Florida Southern event.
