13-Year-Old Melbourne Girl Dies After Being Hit on Her Bicycle Near Aurora Rd.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A 13-year-old Melbourne girl was killed on Thursday after she attempted to cross Aurora St. on her bicycle.
Authorities say a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old woman from Groveland was traveling westbound on Aurora Rd. near Cecilia St when the teen attempted to cross Aurora St. and was struck by the vehicle.
The teen girl was taken to Holmes Regional where she was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
