Cocoa Beach Police Identifies 62-Year-Old Victim Who Died in Bicyclist vs Vehicle Crash on SR-520

VICTIM IDENTIFIED AS Kelly Parrish, 62

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – Cocoa Beach Police identified a bicyclist who was killed on State Road 520 Saturday as 62-year-old Kelly Parrish.

Cocoa Beach Police responded to the crash on October 12 at 7:03 p.m.

The two people involved in crash the were Parrish and a van operated by 46-year-old Lydia Walker of Orlando.

“Parrish sustained serious injuries and despite life-saving measures on scene, was pronounced deceased at Cape Canaveral Hospital. Walker remained at the scene and was uninjured in the incident,” said Cocoa Beach Police Officer Major Thomas Cooper.

This investigation is ongoing.
