BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Ben Peck was named to the All-SSC Second Team with a ninth-place finish at the SSC Championships. He is the 61st Panther ever to make an All-SSC team.

Not only did Peck’s time of 25:31:40 earn him ninth place and a spot on an All-SSC team, but he also ran the fastest of any freshman in the conference.

The Brandon, England native won SSC Freshman of the Year before the meet, and he showcased that the conference made the right decision.

Peck is the first Panther to make an All-SSC team since Malte Stockhausen made the first team in 2019. He is the first freshman to make an all-conference team since Myles Garza when he was named to the first team in 2007.

The Panthers are preparing for the NCAA South Regional Championships, which will be held on Saturday, November 9, in Huntsville, Alabama.
