BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Margaret Ann (Hudson) Livermore, 64, of Viera, Florida, went home to the Lord on October 9, 2024. She was born on December 28, 1959, in Miami, Florida, and was the daughter of the late James and Josephine (Pearson) Hudson.

She was the beloved wife of Stephen Livermore for 45 years.  Margaret grew up in Merritt Island, Florida, and graduated from Merritt Island High School in 1977. From there she attended Brevard Community College for her nursing degree.

She then received her bachelor’s from the University of Central Florida and then attended the University of Florida for her master’s in nursing, becoming an ARNP. She worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse and then an ICU nurse at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge.

As a Nurse Practitioner, she worked in the fields of neurology and nephrology.

Margaret and Stephen were married on December 21, 1978.  Margaret was a loving mother to three children and truly an exemplary grandmother to seven lucky grandchildren.

Once Margaret retired, she was only getting started. This is when she worked to become not only a full-time grandma but also a published author of three children’s books about animals of the Indian River Lagoon, a Master Naturalist for conservation programs of the Indian River Lagoon, and the coordinator of the Cocoa Village Christmas boat parade. Through these avenues she was able to provide education to children in many of the local schools.

Margaret’s interests included participating in multiple book critique groups, writing her first novel, walking and bike riding with her husband Steve, and taking her grandchildren to SeaWorld and the beach, attending their sporting events, and making time for endless activities with them.

She is survived by her husband Stephen Livermore,  one sister, Georgia (Hudson) Jeffers and her husband Tom, one brother, James (JT) Hudson and his wife Cheryl, three children: her sons, Michael and his wife, Katheryn Livermore, Mims, FL, and Matthew Livermore, Clearwater, FL, and her beloved daughter, Jill Hollar (Livermore) and her husband Jonathan, Lake Worth, FL.; seven grandchildren, Reese (17), Sky(15), Sloan(11), Kellen(11), Kade(8), Paris(8) and Luke(6), and many loving nieces, in-laws, and a community of dear friends. Margaret will be remembered fondly by her absolute dedication and devotion to her family. She always put everyone’s needs before her own and was a true example of love, kindness and generosity.

A Celebration of Life service will take place at The Church at Viera on October 29 at 11 a.m. In memory of Margaret, donations may be made to Central Brevard Sharing Center.
