STATE BOUND! Space Coast Vipers Clinch SSAA State Championship Berth with Win Over Umatilla

Space Coast will host Bell High School
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Vipers clinched a SSAA 1A State Championship Berth after defeating Umatila 21-19 on Friday.
The State Championship game will feature two number-one seeds as Space Coast will host Bell High School.
The Space Coast football program has seen quite the turnaround in just one season. Under head coach Jake Owens, the team went from 1-8 last season to its first state championship appearance.
“First, I’m very proud of all our players and coaches for their hard work, commitment, effort, and dedication to build and bring back an incredible Viper culture and winning attitude to our football program!” said Head Coach Jake Owens.

It’s an honor to be the Head Coach at Space Coast again and RESTORE THE STRIKE! I’m so happy for everyone involved with Viper Nation to be a part of such a legendary 2024 season! This is just the beginning of what’s to come for our football program!”

The Vipers enter the season’s final game with a 9-3 overall record.
