Florida Highway Patrol: Fatal Crash on Southbound I-95 in Melbourne Leaves One Dead

FHP: one occupant was pronounced deceased on-scene

Florida Highway Patrol Troopers were on the scene of a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 7:51 a.m.”Troopers are still gathering details, and preliminary information shows one occupant was pronounced deceased on-scene,” said FHP spokesperson Trooper Migdalisis Garcia.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers were on the scene of a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 7:51 a.m.

The crash occurred on the southbound lanes of I-95 at mile marker 183 in Melbourne.

“Troopers are still gathering details, and preliminary information shows one occupant was pronounced deceased on-scene,” said FHP spokesperson Trooper Migdalisis Garcia.

“There is currently a roadblock in the southbound lanes of I-95 at mile marker 183. Traffic is being diverted off at mile marker 189 at the Pineda Causeway.”
