BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Sheriff Wayne Ivey and the Brevard County Animal Care Center are issuing an urgent call for compassionate community members to step up and help foster kittens.
With an influx of homeless and vulnerable kittens needing care, the center is in critical need of foster volunteers to provide temporary homes.
“Becoming a foster parent for these little ones can make all the difference in their lives,” said Sheriff Ivey. “Your love and care give them a chance to grow, thrive, and eventually find their forever families.”
The Brevard County Animal Care Center, located at 5100 West Eau Gallie Boulevard in Melbourne, is open Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
Fostering is a rewarding experience that provides kittens with the care they desperately need and opens hearts and homes to the joy of saving lives. Join today’s effort and help these furry friends find the love they deserve.
