BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Tigers will travel to Sarasota next Friday to take on the Cardinal Mooney Cougars in the State Semifinal.
The Tigers (9-3) defeated Newberry 40-3 last Friday after QB Brady Hart threw for four touchdowns in the victory. Hart leads Cocoa with over 3,200 passing yards and 32 touchdowns on the season.
The Cougars (12-0) have dominated every opponent this year. Their closest game came last week when they defeated Bishop Verot 35-14. Cardinal Mooney is led by their running back Connail Jackson who has tallied over 1,400 yards and seven touchdowns.
Kickoff Friday night is set for 7:00 p.m.
