SHERIFF IVEY: Dinunzio was selling drugs out of his room at the Aladdin Hotel on Merritt Island

SHERIFF WAYNE IVEY: Dominick Dinunzio, left, who keeps mething up over and over again, got busted for Trafficking in Meth and Trafficking In Fentanyl. Oh, and his little friend Julie Bass, right, who was driving the car he was arrested in, was found to be in possession of 1.8 grams of fentanyl herself, so she took the ride too for Possession of Fentanyl. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Well, folks, some people just can’t keep from meeting up and doing dumb things that land them in one of our not-so-nice guest rooms at “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge.”

Take Dominick Dinunzio for example, who keeps mething up over and over again and this time got busted for Trafficking in Meth and Trafficking In Fentanyl.

It all started after Agent Josh Ellison and Agent Justin Nieves were made aware that Dinunzio had done methed around and started selling drugs out of his room at the Aladdin Hotel in Merritt Island.

Ironically, Dinunzio has a lengthy criminal history, has been charged with several violent crimes and even seen the inside of the “Big House,” which as you may be aware, is a lengthy stay lodging partner with our very own Iron Bar Lodge.

As you might imagine, Agent Ellison and Agent Nieves weren’t mething around with the case so they were able to establish enough probable cause to get a search warrant for Dinunzio’s room and then got ready to meth up his day.

To make matters even worse on himself, while our Agents were surveilling him prior to serving the search warrant, Dinunzio really methed up and conducted narcotics sales in the parking lot, right in front of our Agents.

Well, to make a long story short, Dinunzio knew he had done methed up after he was arrested in a vehicle in the parking lot and then got to wear some really cool bracelets while he watched us search the car and his room.

Located in the hotel room were 12 grams of fentanyl, 14.5 grams of meth, .4 grams of cocaine, three lorazepam pills, and various items of paraphernalia that reflect sale and distribution.

Dinunzio was given a free ride in our lodge courtesy shuttle to “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge” where he was welcomed by our Booking Agents who have often been poorly rated on Travelocity as being “not very friendly or accommodating.”

Personally, I think the rating is unfair as I know all of them and they are always very nice to me!

Well anyway…Dinunzio, who was booked on a “no bond“ status, ultimately got charged with Trafficking in Meth, Trafficking in Fentanyl, Possession of Meth With Intent to Sell, Possession of Opiate with Intent to Sell, and 2 Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance!!

Oh, and his little friend Julie Bass, who was driving the car he was arrested in, was found to be in possession of 1.8 grams of fentanyl herself, so she took the ride too for Possession of Fentanyl.

Dinunzio will hopefully be going back to the “Big House” as he has once again failed to learn what happens when you “Meth Around and Find Out” in Brevard County.
