Eastern Florida State Baseball Opens Season Friday vs. St. Johns River in Bradenton

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will open the 2025 regular season this weekend at the SCF Legends Classic in Bradenton.

The Titans will open against St. Johns River Friday at 3 p.m. The Vikings had 42 wins last season and lost in the semifinals of the NJCAA Division II National Championships to the national champion LSU Eunice.

On Saturday the Titans will face Pasco-Hernando State College at 2:30 p.m. and then finish the tournament at IMG Academy, facing Miami Dade College at 6:30 p.m.

“New season, new group. The excitement is through the roof, we are ready to get going the first three weeks of seasons is insane, but these guys are ready to go,” Eastern Florida State College baseball coach Steven Brown said.

“Quality teams, some are dealing with snow but hopefully everyone can get there safely and we can play some baseball.”

The Titans have 10 players returning from a team that had 25 wins last season.

Eastern Florida State College will be home for the first time this season on Wednesday, playing Webber University JV at 3 p.m.
