No. 24 Ranked Eastern Florida State Men’s Basketball Scores 100-Plus Points in New Year’s Eve Win

BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team cruised to victory Tuesday afternoon, December 31, at Titan Field House.
The No. 24 ranked Titans scored 100-plus points for the fourth time this season, defeating Keep Striving Prep 112-33. Eastern Florida State College went on runs of nine, 11, and nine in the first half and took a commanding 55-16 lead into halftime.
Emondrek Erkins-Ford led the way with 14 points in the first half.
The sophomore forward would finish with a team-high 17 points.
Ernests Locmelis had his best game of the season, hitting four 3-pointers to finish with 12 points in the win. Teammates Wesley Isoje and Corey Caulker each also had 12 points for Eastern Florida State College, as all 13 players scored in the contest.
Eastern Florida State College is now 11-2 and will open the Citrus Conference season on Saturday in Fort Myers. The Titans will play Florida Southwestern in the conference opener at 4 p.m. following the women’s game with the Bucs, which begins at 2 p.m.
