Eastern Florida State College Softball Team Sweeps South Florida State, Improves Overall Record to 15-3

Next Game: host Miami Dade College next Tuesday

BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA — The Eastern Florida State College softball team picked up a pair of shutouts on the road Wednesday evening.

The Titans defeated South Florida State College 6-0 and then 9-0 to improve to 15-3 overall.

In Game 1 Avery Velazquez tossed her fifth shutout of the season while Luci Walters posted a shutout in the second game of the day.

Ashley Grieser, who was celebrating her birthday, had a big day for the Titans with a couple triples and a double while Ashley Corazzini also had a big day.

Eastern Florida State College will open the Citrus Conference next Tuesday, hosting Miami Dade College in a doubleheader at Titan Softball Complex.

The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 4 p.m. and admission is free to fans.
