BREAKING: Palm Bay Pirates Girls Basketball Advances to Class 4A State Championship, Defeats Booker 70-39 in Lakeland

State Championship game set for Thursday, March 6

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay High School girls basketball team advanced to the FHSAA Class 4A State Championship, where they will play No. 2 American Heritage, a rematch from 2021.
After another successful season the Palm Bay Pirates stormed into the FHSAA state tournament with their eyes on the prize.
The Pirates are ranked as one of the top teams in the state and with an impressive 17-7 regular season record, they earned a No.1 seed in the state tournament.
After winning their regionals games by an astounding 53-point margin the Pirates secured a trip to Lakeland for the final four. As they have done all post season the Pirates would win their final four matchup convincingly 70-39 over the Booker Tornadoes to advance to the 4A State Championship.

The Palm Bay girls will face No. 2 American Heritage at 5 p.m. in the State Championship Thursday, March 6.
It will be Palm Bay’s second trip to the state championship, their first coming in 2021 where they fell short to American Heritage 41-36.
In a rematch from four years ago, can the Palm Bay Pirates avenge their last defeat?
