The City of Palm Bay is pleased to announce that the City’s 2023 fiscal year Annual Comprehensive Financial Report has once again qualified for the Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — The City of Palm Bay is pleased to announce that the City’s 2023 fiscal year Annual Comprehensive Financial Report has once again qualified for the Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.

Awarded by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada, a Certificate of Achievement is presented to those government units whose annual financial reports are judged to adhere to program standards and demonstrate a spirit of full disclosure to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the report.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.

This is the 38th consecutive year the City of Palm Bay has received recognition for this accomplishment.
