Eastern Florida State College Softball Team Ranked 19th in NJCAA Division I Poll

BREVARD COUNTY • FLORIDA — The Eastern Florida State College softball team is ranked No. 19 in the latest NJCAA Division I National Poll released Monday.

The Titans are 30-14 overall and 15-11 in the Citrus Conference and are currently on a six-game winning streak. Eastern Florida State College is ranked for the seventh straight week and will play their third top 25 team in the past week on Tuesday, heading to Daytona to play No. 10 Daytona State College in a conference doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m.

Florida Southwestern continues to be No. 1 in the national poll with Northwest Florida State College second and Indian River State College third.

Seminole State College is ranked seventh in the national poll with Miami Dade College eighth, making six Florida teams ranked in the top 10.

Santa Fe is No. 19 in the poll with Chipola College ranked 24th.

The Titans will be back home on Saturday for a conference doubleheader against St. Petersburg College beginning at 1 p.m. The program will honor the sophomore class on Saturday and admission is free.
