Viera will take on Dwyer Saturday on the road

The Merritt Island Mustangs took care of business at home as they defeated Suncoast back-to-back nights, advancing to the regional semifinals. The No. 2-ranked Mustangs will now host Belen Jesuit at Mustang Stadium.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The FHSAA state playoffs heat up as multiple Brevard County schools look to advance and inch closer to the ultimate prize of a state title.

The Rockledge Raiders saw their season end at the hands of No.1 seed American Heritage, losing 2-0 in the best-of-three series. The Raiders competed hard and will look forward to the 2026 season.

Melbourne Central Catholic was no match for The First Academy and lost 2-0, being shut out in both contests. The Hustlers will head into the off-season looking ahead to next year.

Satellite defeated Key West down south in Game 1, but lost Game 2, forcing them to a series-deciding Game 3 match at home in Satellite. The Scorpions’ season would end abruptly as they lost 3-0 in the series finale.

After the Astronaut War Eagles sneaked into the FHSAA tournament, they ran into a very talented South Sumter team and lost the series 2-0, as they prepare for the summer.

Eau Gallie looked dominant in their Game 1 victory over Belen Jesuit, but Belen Jesuit had different plans. After winning Game 2, the Wolverines took their home field for Game 3 and won the series finale 1-0.

On the road at Lake Minneola, Melbourne won convincingly in Game 1 and had a chance to end it in Game 2, but Minneola isn’t going anywhere. The two teams will head to Melbourne to play the series decider on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Viera Hawks won at tight one over Dwyer in Game 1 4-3, as we have seen some Game 3’s already, Viera adds to the list. Dwyer defeated the Hawks 6-3 in Game 2 and will head to Palm Beach for Game 3 on Saturday.
