Brevard Veterans Memorial Center to Host Military Enlistment Ceremony at Viera High School May 15

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA — The community is invited to the Viera High School Football Stadium to join Brevard Veterans Memorial Center for the First Annual Military Enlistment Ceremony of the Space Coast from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15.
This inaugural event will recognize and honor high school seniors and recent graduates from area counties who have committed to serving in one of the six branches of the United States Armed Forces.
Admission is free, and all family members, friends, veterans, and members of the public are encouraged to attend.
Guests are asked to arrive by 5:30 p.m. to witness the official swearing-in of an estimated 200 to 300 young men and women who have chosen to begin their post-high school journey in service to their country.
Sponsored by Brevard Public Schools in partnership with the local veteran community, the event celebrates students from all educational backgrounds, including public, private, charter, virtual, and home schooling.
Organizers describe the ceremony as a meaningful moment for the community to recognize these individuals’ commitment to “Service before Self.”
