Carib Brewery to Host Space Coast Connect ZERO-K May 28, Will Benefit Brevard Humane Society

Instead of miles of running, participants will gather to connect, network and contribute to a charitable cause

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Accelerate Brevard’s upcoming Space Coast Connect ZERO-K event promises a lively evening of fun, community spirit, and meaningful support for a worthy cause.

The event will be held on Wednesday, May 28, at Carib Brewery in Cape Canaveral from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This event promises zero kilometers of running and 100% enjoyment. Cheers to no sweat, just sips! “Runners” will get a t-shirt, bib, drink ticket, and the opportunity to connect with members of our community!

Register in advance to secure your preferred t-shirt size. Walk-ins will receive t-shirts on a first-come, first-served basis.

This year, the Brevard Humane Society has been selected as the event’s featured nonprofit beneficiary.

Set in a festive, social atmosphere, the ZERO-K is not your typical race. Instead of miles of running, participants will gather to connect, network, and contribute to a charitable cause, without breaking a sweat.

The highlight of this year’s event will be the presence of the Brevard Humane Society, which will be on site collecting much-needed donations for the animals in its care.

Attendees are encouraged to bring any of the following items to contribute to the shelter’s ongoing needs:

● Bleach
● Paper towel
● Kitten Milk Replacer
● Copy paper
● Pet food

In addition to supporting a great cause, guests can enjoy drinks, mingle with fellow community members, and celebrate local efforts that make a difference. The event embodies the ZERO-K’s goal of combining social connection with social good.

The Brevard Humane Society has long served as a haven for homeless and abandoned animals across the region. With help from community partners and supporters, they continue to offer care, adoption services, and education programs that promote responsible pet ownership.
