Health First Sponsors Viera High School Student Selected for Prestigious Global Youth Leadership Academy in Ireland

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Michael Gonzalez, a standout student from Viera High School, has been selected to participate in the 2025 Global Youth Leadership Academy in Ireland.

This prestigious international program empowers young leaders through immersive cultural and leadership experiences.

“Health First is generously sponsoring the full program fee of $8,950, making this life-changing opportunity possible for Michael,” said a Brevard Public Schools spokesperson.

“The sponsorship covers all program materials, lodging, meals, excursions, and leadership training during the Academy.”

The program, taking place from July 7 to 14, brings together high school students from around the world to explore leadership through heart-led values, global awareness, and cultural exploration.

Participants will tour iconic Irish landmarks, including Dublin, Belfast, Galway, and the Cliffs of Moher, while engaging in leadership workshops led by world-renowned speakers.

“This is a tremendous honor and a unique opportunity for him to grow as a global leader.”

The Global Youth Leadership Academy was founded by New York Times best-selling author and leadership expert Tommy Spaulding. The program emphasizes servant leadership, authentic relationships, and global citizenship.
