SpaceX Set for Monday Night Rocket Launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station

SpaceX is scheduled to launch another batch of Starlink V2 Mini satellites late Sunday night, May 19, into the early hours of Monday, May 19, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is scheduled to launch another batch of Starlink V2 Mini satellites late Monday night, May 20, into the early hours of Monday, May 19, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The launch window opens at 11:40 p.m. EDT, with the Falcon 9 rocket carrying a group of Starlink 12-15 satellites, including 13 designed to support direct-to-cell phone service — a key step in SpaceX’s push to expand global mobile connectivity.

Following stage separation, the Falcon 9’s first stage booster is expected to execute a landing on a droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean, east of The Bahamas, roughly eight minutes after liftoff.

This mission continues SpaceX’s rapid deployment of its next-generation satellite internet constellation, which aims to enhance network speed, coverage, and reliability worldwide.

Weather conditions and technical readiness will determine if the launch proceeds as scheduled.
