BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX is set to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the latest batch of Starlink V2 Mini satellites on Thursday, May 1.

The launch window opens at 9:51 p.m. EDT from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The mission is part of SpaceX’s ongoing effort to expand its Starlink broadband network in low Earth orbit. The upgraded V2 Mini satellites offer improved bandwidth and coverage capabilities.

About eight minutes after liftoff, the Falcon 9’s first stage will aim for a precision landing on the droneship Just Read the Instructions, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean east of The Bahamas.

If successful, the booster recovery will add to SpaceX’s growing record of reusability and mission efficiency as the company continues its rapid launch cadence throughout 2025.
