BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – National Weather Service is monitoring a system of thunderstorms moving across Central Florida that will likely impact portions of Brevard County Friday evening.

Gusty winds could reach between 50-60 mph.

Some areas of Brevard County may have to be on the lookout for threats of tornado.

Coin-sized hail is possible.

Experts say the system is carrying a lot of moisture that will bring heavy downpours and cause flooding in in some flood prone areas.
