BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA — Brevard County Parks and Recreation has announced the official winners of the 2025 Merritt Island Holiday Parade, which brought festive cheer to the community on Saturday, December 6, with colorful floats, spirited performances, and strong participation from schools, civic groups, public agencies, and local businesses.
The annual holiday tradition drew families and spectators from across Merritt Island and surrounding communities, as parade entries made their way through the route showcasing seasonal decorations, music, choreography, and creative themes celebrating the spirit of the holidays.
Judges evaluated entries on overall presentation, creativity, crowd engagement, and holiday spirit.
According to county officials, parade winners were notified following the event. They may pick up their trophies beginning Monday, December 8, at the Brevard County Parks and Recreation office located at 840 Forrest Avenue in Cocoa.

Brevard County Parks and Recreation officials praised all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment to making the parade a success, noting that the event remains a highlight of the holiday season on Merritt Island.
