Viv’s 4th Annual Lemonade Stand Event Set Saturday, May 17 During DIPG Awareness Day

Vivian Sleeth 10-Year-Old Cancer Patient from Rockledge Battling DIPG

Ten-year-old Vivian Sleeth is battling DIPG, a rare form of brain cancer with no known cure and limited treatment options. Viv will be holding her 4th Annual Lemonade Stand on May 17 at 916 Osprey Lane in Rockledge. She will pour lemonade starting at 10 a.m. and will continue until she runs out!

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10 a.m. I know where I will be. My broadcasting partner, Orville Susong, and I will be at Viv’s 4th Annual Lemonade Stand at 916 Osprey Lane in Rockledge.

Vivian Sleeth, a beautiful 10-year-old girl from Rockledge, is battling Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare form of brain cancer. May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month, and May 17 is DIPG Awareness Day.

According to the American Childhood Cancer Organization, “There is no known cure for DIPG, and treatment options for DIPG brain tumors are very limited.”

Vivian is fighting this like a true warrior. If anyone can beat this disease, it is Viv.

Let’s gather as a community and support this little girl.

Wilson is especially proud of his chairing two fundraisers in support of pediatric cancer research through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation in honor of Merritt Island resident Julie Spurlock that raised over $25,000.00.

He has been a partner, along with Orville Susong, for the past 26 years with the Friday Night Locker Room, a broadcasting team that covers and reports on a wide variety of local events that are of significance to the residents of the Space Coast and beyond. Their mission is to promote youth sports, support first responders and law enforcement personnel, and showcase community and charitable events that are produced by our nonprofit partners in central Florida.

The Friday Night Locker Room has awarded hundreds of sports achievement plaques to Brevard County student-athletes over the years. They have also awarded more than $18,000 in academic scholarships to Brevard County high school seniors.
