Brevard Humane Society to Host Annual Tuxes & Tails Gala Aug. 23 at Port Canaveral Radisson Resort

Proceeds benefit ongoing efforts to provide shelter, medical care and loving homes

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA — The Brevard Humane Society invites the community to attend its highly anticipated 14th Annual Tuxes & Tails Greatest Show Gala on Saturday, August 23, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Radisson Resort at the Port, located at 8701 Astronaut Boulevard in Cape Canaveral.

Presented by Subaru of Melbourne, this year’s gala celebrates the magic of compassion with style, flair, and heart. Guests can expect an evening filled with entertainment, elegant attire, and an opportunity to make a life-changing difference for Brevard’s homeless animals.

The event, one of the Brevard Humane Society’s largest annual fundraisers, helps raise critical funds to support animal rescue, care, and adoption programs throughout the region.

The 2025 gala promises to deliver a show-stopping experience complete with themed decor and gourmet dining.

Honorary hosts for the evening are longtime advocates for animal welfare in the community, Tom, Susie, and the Wasdin Family.

The Brevard Humane Society has been serving the area since 1952, and events like Tuxes & Tails play a vital role in supporting their mission to protect and care for homeless pets.
