BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – While every day is a great day at our Animal Care Center last Wednesday was even better as we celebrated some of our amazing Animal Services team members and also accepted a very meaningful donation.
To start things off, John Casey and Jennifer Marren with “Event Essentials 321” donated and catered an incredible member appreciation lunch for our Animal Care Center team who all enjoyed getting to spend some time together while also enjoying some delicious food.
At the same time, we had a visit from the Eagles Club of Merritt Island that during the month of June started an amazing campaign in honor of my sweet boy Junny who recently passed away.
The fundraiser “June for Junny” is something they are going to do every year, with the proceeds being donated to “The Sheriff’s Pet Posse” that helps homeless pets here in Brevard County.
As you might imagine it was a great day that meant so much to me and our team at the Animal Care Center, as they work incredibly hard for our homeless pets each and every day to show them love and keep them safe.
I want to thank John and Jennifer for the great lunch, and to the Merritt Island Eagles Club for keeping Junny’s memory alive with such an incredible annual donation.
