Held on Monday mornings from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m., the popular program is designed specifically for children up to 5 years old, and runs through July 21. Due to its growing popularity, attendance is limited to the first 20 families each week to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all. Guardians are required to accompany their children in the water, reinforcing the importance of supervision and engagement during aquatic activities.

Each session features a playful yet purposeful structure. Parents and children begin with a mini lesson focusing on foundational water safety and swimming skills, followed by free play, interactive water games, and sing-along swimming songs that make the learning process fun and memorable.

Weekly themes have included “Breathe Control & Bubbles,” “Back Floats,” “Super Hero Day,” and more, culminating in a comprehensive skill-building experience. One standout session, “Safety Week,” emphasizes essential water safety tips in a format that is accessible even to the youngest swimmers.

Priced at just $5 per child, with children under 2 admitted free, Toddler Time offers an affordable opportunity for families to introduce their little ones to the water in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

The Palm Bay Aquatic Center, located at 420 Community College Parkway SE, provides the ideal setting for these formative aquatic experiences.

For many parents, the program offers more than just swimming instruction. It’s a chance to connect with other families, share parenting experiences, and create lasting summer memories. The City of Palm Bay invites families to join in the fun and give their toddlers a head start in swimming and water safety.
