BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Campuses across Brevard were filled with excitement Friday as teachers and staff returned to their schools to officially kick off the 2025–2026 academic year.

After a well-earned summer break, educators reunited with familiar faces and warm smiles, eager to begin preparations for the upcoming school year.

Schools welcomed staff back with everything from breakfast gatherings to team-building activities, setting a positive tone ahead of students’ return on Monday, August 11.

Across the district, energy and optimism were on full display as staff members shared stories, sipped coffee, and reconnected with their teams.

“We’re so grateful for the dedication, heart, and energy our educators bring to the classroom,” Brevard Public Schools said in a statement. “Let’s make this year unforgettable!”

The district extended a heartfelt “welcome back” to all teachers, administrators, and support staff—thanking them for their commitment to student success as a new year of learning begins.
