BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Surf’s up and summer’s in full swing along Florida’s Space Coast! Whether you’re a weekend warrior chasing waves or just looking to enjoy some sunshine and salty air, here’s your Cocoa Beach surf and weather outlook for August 1-3.

FRIDAY – August 1
Expect partly sunny skies and hot, humid conditions, with highs around 92°F. There’s a slight chance of a stray afternoon thunderstorm—classic Florida summer vibes.

Surf will be in the 1 foot range, offering mellow conditions perfect for beginners, longboarders, or anyone just looking to enjoy a relaxed paddle session. Winds will stay light out of the southeast in the morning, shifting onshore by the afternoon.

SATURDAY – August 2
Saturday brings even hotter temps, reaching 93°F, with a mix of sun and clouds. Keep an eye out for scattered afternoon thunderstorms, but the first half of the day should be great for hitting the beach.

The surf stays small but clean in the early hours—ideal for a sunrise ride or just chilling by the water before the sea breeze kicks in.

SUNDAY – August 3
Sunday cools down slightly with a high around 90°F and a blend of clouds and sunshine. There’s still a slight chance of a pop-up storm in the afternoon, so bring your beach gear early.

Surf conditions may see a small bump, with some waist-high sets sneaking in with the tide, making for a little more action in the lineup.

WEEKEND BEACH TIPS:
