BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue is actively recruiting new team members, offering competitive salaries, advancement opportunities, and valuable incentives for those ready to serve the community.
The department is seeking qualified candidates for Firefighter/EMT positions, with a salary range from $53,498.35 to $80,365.16 annually.
Competitive Pay and Benefits
BCFR emphasizes rewarding experience, offering pay-for-experience credit where two years of service equal one year in the step plan, up to five steps. The department has also implemented an aggressive step plan designed to encourage long-term careers with the agency.
For experienced employees, BCFR provides a fast-track orientation, allowing quicker integration into active service. In addition, tuition reimbursement is available for up to $5,250 per year, helping employees advance their education and training.
