BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Downtown Melbourne will host the 2nd Annual Unity in the Community Music Festival on Saturday, October 4, bringing live performances and community celebrations to the heart of the city.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and City officials encourage attendees to take advantage of free parking available in city-owned parking lots.
To accommodate the festival, several streets will be closed from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the day of the event:
New Haven Avenue will be closed from Waverly Place to Campbell Park, along with Municipal Lane. Westbound left turn lanes on Strawbridge Avenue at Municipal Lane will also be closed, as will Vernon Place at New Haven Avenue south to the alleyway. Local traffic will still be permitted from Melbourne Avenue.
The extended street closures are designed to ensure a safe and accessible environment for festivalgoers throughout the duration of the event.
The Unity in the Community Music Festival highlights local talent while bringing residents together for an afternoon of music, food, and fellowship in downtown Melbourne.
