Brevard County Haunted Trail Returns to Rotary Park in Merritt Island for Four Nights of Frightful Fun

Be prepared to be scared: Brevard County Parks and Recreation’s Central Area is partnering with Eastern Florida State College for the 2025 Haunted Trail event. The event will take place at Rotary Park Nature Center, located at 1899 South Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island.

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Be prepared to be scared: Brevard County Parks and Recreation’s Central Area is partnering with Eastern Florida State College for the 2025 Haunted Trail event.

The event will take place at Rotary Park Nature Center, located at 1899 South Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island.

Visitors can expect to experience multiple scare zones packed with eerie creatures, jump scares, and bone-chilling surprises throughout the .08-mile boarded walking trail in the woods.

The Haunted Trail runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the following dates:

• Friday, October 17
• Saturday, October 18
• Friday, October 24
• Saturday, October 25

In addition, there will be free movies in the park shown at the Arnold Memorial Pavilion on both Friday, October 17 (Warm Bodies) and Friday, October 24 (Wicked).

There will also be food trucks each night with entrée or dessert menus.

All proceeds will go to Brevard County Parks and Recreation and local non-profit charities.

Tickets are $10 each for 13 years and up, and $5 each for 12 years and under. This event is intended as a fright experience and may not be suitable for all children. For information, call 321-633-1874 or email Delinda.Griffis@BrevardFL.gov.
