Melbourne Police Seek Public’s Help to Identify Suspect in Porch Package Theft at Matte Drive and West Shores Road

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a package theft reported in a residential neighborhood.

According to police, the incident occurred in the area of Matte Drive and West Shores Road, where surveillance footage captured a subject removing a package from the front porch of a home.
Investigators released an image of the individual in hopes that someone may recognize him.
The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair and a thin build. Police say the individual’s identity remains unknown at this time, and detectives are continuing to investigate the case.
