For the month of October, every vehicle is guaranteed to be worth $5,000 toward a purchase of a new or used vehicle at the Erdman Automotive Super Center in Cocoa.
The original “Cash for Clunkers” program, introduced nationwide in 2009, provided drivers across America with the opportunity to trade in their older vehicles for credit toward newer models. It was designed to help families upgrade to safer, more efficient cars.
Now, in 2025, Erdman Automotive is bringing back that same spirit, but this time, it’s an entirely Space Coast initiative.
Unlike the government-funded version, this event is being made possible entirely by Mike Erdman himself, who is personally covering the cost to give Brevard County customers a chance to get the most for their vehicles.
“This is not an estimate and it’s not an ‘up to’ number,” said Mike Erdman. “Every vehicle, no matter the make, model, miles, or condition, is guaranteed $5,000 toward a purchase of a new or used vehicle. If your vehicle is worth more than $5,000, you’ll save even more. There are no exceptions and no gimmicks.”
The event runs now through October 31, at the Erdman Automotive Pre-Owned Super Center, located off I-95 and 520 in Cocoa, Florida.
