BREVARD COUNTY • KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLORIDA – The next rocket launch from Florida’s Space Coast is slated for Sunday evening, when SpaceX fires a Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center (KSC).

The mission, designated Starlink 6‑92, will deploy 29 broadband satellites to low-Earth orbit.

The launch window opens at 4:40 p.m. Eastern Time and remains open through 8:40 p.m. ET on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

The rocket is a Falcon 9 Block 5, and will lift off from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center.  After delivery of the satellites, the first stage — identified as booster B1067 on its 32nd flight — is planned to land on the drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean. The rocket’s trajectory is expected to head southeast shortly after liftoff.

Starlink 6-92 will add 29 more “v2-mini” satellites to the ever-expanding Starlink internet constellation. The added satellites will help expand global broadband Internet coverage, serving users in remote or underserved areas. The constellation’s growth underscores ongoing global demand for reliable connectivity.

For this mission, the reusability of the Falcon 9 booster plays a central role. The B1067 first stage has flown many times before — and its recovery on a drone ship is a key demonstration of the cost-effective, reusable-rocket model that SpaceX champions.

The launch will be visible from various points on Florida’s Space Coast, weather permitting. Visitors at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex can get a front-row view from designated viewing areas — the main visitor complex viewing area opens around 3:30 p.m. on launch day.

You can watch the launch on Space Coast Daily TV.
