BREVARD COUNTY • MIMS, FLORIDA — Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle that occurred Monday afternoon on Interstate 95 in northern Brevard County.
According to authorities, the crash happened at approximately 4:17 p.m. on I-95 southbound near mile marker 232 in Mims. Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene, where preliminary information indicates a motorcycle was involved in the collision.
One fatality has been confirmed, though the identity of the victim has not yet been released pending next-of-kin notification.
Investigators say the sequence of events leading up to the crash remains under review, and no additional details have been released at this time.
