The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has released its 2026 Division II Preseason Coaches Poll with Florida Tech ranked No. 24.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA. – The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has released its 2026 Division II Preseason Coaches Poll with Florida Tech ranked No. 24.

The Panthers are coming off a 6-12 season (2-5 in the SSC) in which they earned the fourth seed in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament. Last season, Tech was ranked as high as No. 19.

In 2026, the Panthers have a gauntlet of a season, facing ranked SSC foes such as the defending national champions and currently the No. 1-ranked team, Tampa; No. 3 Florida Southern; No. 9 Embry-Riddle; No. 10 Saint Leo; No. 11 Lynn; and No. 19 Rollins.

Tech will be tested early in its non-conference schedule as it battles No. 2 Adelphi, No. 12 Flagler, No. 13 Regis, No. 18 Grand Valley State, and No. 20 Lander.

Florida Tech will open its season on Saturday, Feb. 7, at No. 19 Rollins at 6 p.m. EST.
