Eastern Florida State Golf Teams Tee Off in Battle @ Black Diamond in Lecanto on Monday

Men and women’s team will tee off at 8:45 a.m.

SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Eastern Florida State College Golf Coach Jamie Howell was inducted into the Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame in 2018. Coach Howell is now in his 24th season with the Titans. In that time, he has chalked up 56 tournament wins and 24 All-Americans

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s and women’s golf teams will compete at The Battle @ Black Diamond in Lecanto, Florida, beginning Monday.

The men’s team will be one of nine teams in the tournament and will tee off at 8:45 a.m. on the front nine.

Freshman Vlad Bercea is coming off a top-six finish at the PDI Shootout and will join sophomores Blake Hodges and Sean Jacoby, as well as Zach McGoffin and Bastian Graf, in the event.

Ave Maria, Florida College, Lake-Sumter State, Lighthouse Christian College, Oxford College of Emory University, Palm Beach State, Spartanburg Methodist, and host New College of Florida will compete on the men’s side.

The Eastern Florida State women’s golf team will tee off at 8:45 a.m. on the back nine at Black Diamond Ranch along with eight other teams.

The women’s team will also tee off at 8:45 a.m. on the back nine at Black Diamond Ranch along with eight other teams.

The Titans are coming off a fourth-place finish at the SSC Fall Warm-Up and are playing in their second tournament of the Fall season.

Ave Maria, Florida College, SCAD, Coastal Georgia, Palm Beach State, Lake Sumter State, and host New College of Florida will compete on the women’s side.

Former Titan Brittany Odic is back for her senior season with New College at Florida after placing third in the event last season.
