Brevard County Sheriff’s Office K9 Deputy Nabs Suspect Who Evaded Arrest On Tuesday

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has arrested the man who evaded arrest earlier today at the Melbourne Probation and Parole Office.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has arrested the man who evaded arrest earlier today at the Melbourne Probation and Parole Office.

Earlier today, a deputy was attempting to serve a Violation of Community Control warrant on 20-year-old Ryan Dixon, and he ran from the deputy.

The Violation of Community Control related to a Hillsborough County conviction for Aggravated Assault.

Dixon was located by a K9 deputy in the area of Mosswood Drive and Eau Gallie Boulevard.

He was transported to the Brevard County Jail where the additional charge of Escape was added to his charge of Violation of Community Control.

Dixon is currently being held without bond.
