The Biggest Casinos in the World for 2022

By  //  September 14, 2022

Casinos can be amazing places, from the historical architecture to the beautiful blend of colors, and the wide range of people that you’ll find in one – the diversity is quite stunning. While the size of any one of these buildings is impressive, just how big do they get?

Online Casinos – A quick note

While the flashiest, most ostentatious casinos are, of course, a wonder to behold, gamblers in the 21st century are presented with a choice when looking to play; make a trip to the establishment or use the internet. While the establishments listed here are the biggest real-life casinos in the world – that does, however, ignore the size and prevalence of online casinos in the industry.

While the activity can’t quite be measured in square feet, casino gambling at Paddy Power can be equally as engaging for gamblers, and the design of these online sites can be pretty stunning. When you’re not limited by space, you can literally have 100s if not 1000s of games to choose from.

City Of Dreams, Macao, China

Spanning across a whopping 420,000 Square Feet, the City of Dreams is poetically named. From afar, this resort is the kind where you might have to rub your eyes to check if you are really seeing correctly – not to mention the fact you might be blinded by the beautifully lit-up building.

With over 1,400 rooms to host its guests, this resort is a crazy place, bustling with people looking to have a good time – and there’s plenty of room to do so.

Venetian Macao, Macao, China

Covering over 546,000 Square Feet, the Venetian Macao ensures that China takes two out of three top spots in terms of casino size – an impressive feat. There’s no hiding this one as it probably appears on a satellite view of the earth with its bright appearance, glowing gold whatever the weather.

This casino is host to over 3,000 gaming machines alongside almost 900 surfaces for tabletop games such as poker, blackjack, or roulette. In summary, there’s no shortage of possibilities for anyone looking to spend the fall visiting Venetian Macao.

This casino also has four swimming pools, of course.

WinStar World Casino, Oklahoma, US

Spread over an astounding 600,000+ Square Feet, the WinStar World Casino is the Arnold Schwarzenegger of the gambling game and a must-visit for any gambler traveling through the states.

In Thackerville, Oklahoma, this beast of a casino was originally built in 2003, but received an enormous investment for expansion in 2013, boosting it straight to the top of this list. With an iconic globe at the front of the establishment, this casino looks the part – as the number one should. With an on-site golf course and shopping center, there’s plenty to do if you don’t fancy gambling all day (though, there are plenty of opportunities for that in this place).

To put this into perspective, 600,000 square feet is the equivalent of filling near-9 whole football pitches with gambling machines (that’s a lot). Or around 46,153 bathtubs side-by-side (that’s also a lot).

So, there it is – a list of some of the biggest casinos across the globe. Quantity does not always quality, though, of course, so that’s not to say you can’t have a good night anywhere but these three establishments, but if you’re looking for size – these are the places. As each one is accompanied by pools, rides, and shops.
