Back in 2015, our BCSO Community Services team came up with the idea to host a unique, one-of-a-kind “Reverse Christmas Parade”, where citizens line the streets along the parade route to give new, unwrapped toys to Law Enforcement Officers for those in need and the true spirit of Christmas. BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA—Back in 2015, our BCSO Community Services team came up with the idea to host a unique, one-of-a-kind “Reverse Christmas Parade.” Citizens line the streets along the parade route to give new, unwrapped toys to Law Enforcement Officers for those in need, in the true spirit of Christmas.

Back then, the concept was created to ensure that every kid in Brevard County had a Merry Christmas, and now, 10 years later, it has become a staple of our community and a favorite holiday tradition.

From businesses tailgating at the event with hot chocolate and snacks to passersby standing ready with toys, this tradition is one of my favorites. Our various law enforcement agencies partner together to make sure that every kid has an amazing Christmas morning.

So join this incredible event on Monday, December 2, at any of our nine parade route locations. Bring a new, unwrapped child’s Christmas present to give Junny, me, and our Chiefs of Police as we walk through your area to help every kid have the Christmas they truly deserve.

Our incredible BCSO Motor Unit will lead the parade, and of course, Junny will be watching over things so he can make sure every kid in our community has the most amazing Christmas ever.

See you on the parade route!
