Melbourne Offering Adult Athletics Featuring Softball, Kickball Leagues, Sign Up Now

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The City of Melbourne offers adult athletic leagues at many locations for individuals and teams to play in sports such as softball and kickball.

Adult Softball Leagues can be found at Southwest Park, 401 West Florida Avenue, Melbourne. Participants can register at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Avenue, Melbourne. Individuals looking to join a team can call 321-608-7400 to be added to the free agent list.

The highly competitive Men’s League is available on Mondays. View the Monday Men’s Schedule.

The medium competitive level Tuesday Rec League will be for teams/individuals with a minor amount of skills, and those playing “just for fun” accept both men and women.

This league will not allow any male ranked higher than Men’s E tournaments with USSSA playing during this night.

Player eligibility will be determined by conducting an athlete search on the USSSA website. If they have played in 4 or more tournaments in a one-year time frame over the last 3 years, they would be considered a tournament player.

Rec league will use the extra home plate, women’s balls for the women batters, the co-ed line will be in use for women batters, and strike mats behind the home plate.

The season will consist of 14 games over 7 weeks, plus a double elimination tournament at the end. Click to view the Tuesday Rec League Schedule

The Thursday Adult Co-ed Softball League is a medium competitive level. Click to view the Thursday Co-Ed Schedule.

The Friday Rec League is at a competitive level of low/medium. This league imposes the same guidelines as the Tuesday League. View the Friday Rec League Schedule Here.

All softball leagues charge a team fee of $425, payable by cash, check, or charge. Make checks payable to the City of Melbourne. A deposit of $212 applies to register. Balance is due on the last day of registration. No refunds are given after the registration deadline.

Adult Kickball League is held at Fee Avenue Park, 1609 Babcock Street, Melbourne. Participants can register at Eau Gallie Civic Center: 1551 Highland Ave. Melbourne.

Kickball Schedule 

Thursday features a 10-game schedule plus Single Elimination Tournament.  The Kickball Team fee is $300, payable by cash, check, or charge. Make checks payable to the City of Melbourne.
