BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — The No Bad Days Foundation has announced its 12th Annual “Kickin’ It For Hope” kickball tournament and family fun day on Saturday, January 25, at the Viera Regional Park Baseball Fields.
Starting at 10 a.m., this event is open to the public and promises a day filled with activities for families and individuals of all ages. The event will end around 4 p.m.
The No Bad Days Foundation is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children with disabilities by providing life-enhancing medical devices and essential support. The “Kickin’ It For Hope” event has a long-standing tradition of bringing together the community for a day of fun and fundraising.
Highlights of the Event include a kickball tournament, silent auction featuring items from local businesses, free bounce houses and family-friendly activities, delicious food options from Charlie & Jake’s Barbeque, all-day entertainment and music with DJ Timmy V, and participation by Brevard County Sheriff Office’s Motor Units, Crime Prevention Team, and Blood Hounds.
All proceeds from the event will be channeled directly to the No Bad Days Foundation, providing essential support to families in need. Since its inception, the No Bad Days Foundation has contributed approximately $100,000 worth of medical devices, equipment, and other necessities to children and families in Brevard County.
Mark Warzecha, founder of No Bad Days and a partner at Melbourne law firm Widerman Malek, emphasized the importance of community support.
“The daily struggles these amazing children and their families must endure are unbelievable. It is an honor for our firm to help, even in some small way, and give back to the community that has given us this opportunity,” said Warzecha.
“Join us for a day of fun and meaningful contributions at the No Bad Days Foundation’s ‘Kickin’ It For Hope’ event on January 25. Your support will make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities.”
The No Bad Days Foundation supports children in Brevard County who have medical disabilities but are unable to acquire life-enhancing medical devices and other necessities. Some devices and equipment could forever enhance a child’s life, but insurance companies may not agree that they are medically necessary, and coverage is denied.
The foundation raises funds to help families procure medical equipment and devices that provide a better quality of life for children with disabilities. All monies collected from donations go directly to the children.
