A proud Floridian and decorated veteran, Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Tim Thomas served 23 years in the U.S. Army, two combat missions in Iraq, and a recovery mission in 1998 to bring home the remains of nine U.S. Army soldiers killed in North Korea during the Korean War.
His leadership earned him the Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Airborne, and Air Assault badges.
After earning Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Government and Administration, Tim continued serving his community on the Melbourne City Council and Airport Authority Board, driving infrastructure improvements and economic growth.
These are just a few of Tim’s many accomplishments, reflecting his lifelong dedication to service and leadership.
Now, he’s ready to bring his leadership to the Florida Senate and fight for the issues that matter most to Floridians.

I’ll fight for competitive salaries that keep our LEO’s, First Responders, and Firefighters in Florida and the enjoying the Space Coast quality of life.

As a teacher and ROTC instructor, I’ll expand funding for leadership, civic education, and tech to prepare students for local jobs. I’ll partner with businesses for STEM education and redirect funding for environmental education.
Business and Economic Growth
I will champion Space Coast First policies to keep economic gains local, support small businesses, and protect jobs from AI-driven workforce displacement. By reducing unnecessary regulations and promoting workforce development, we can create long-term prosperity for Floridians.
Veterans & Military Affairs
As a veteran among 70,000 peers, I’ll advocate for local programs, healthcare, and resources, ensuring veterans don’t face long travel. I’ll secure funding for local services and oppose cuts.
