THE ZANE REPORT PODCAST EPISODE 5: Interview with Former Eastern Florida Basketball Player Cameron Wickline, Preview Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Cameron Wickline, a 6-foot-5 guard from Melbourne, Florida, played a supporting role for the Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) Titans during the 2022–23 men’s basketball season.

A graduate of Melbourne High School, Wickline brought size and versatility to the Titans’ backcourt.

In his sophomore year, Wickline appeared in 26 games, averaging 7.8 minutes and 1.4 points per game.

While his time on the court was limited, he made the most of his opportunities, shooting an efficient 48.3% from the field and 30% from three-point range. He also contributed 1.4 rebounds per game and maintained a solid presence on defense.

Wickline’s contributions were often subtle but valuable. For instance, in a game against Polk State College on February 11, 2023, he played 9 minutes, scoring 2 points on 1-of-1 shooting, helping the Titans secure an 87–79 victory.

Though not a primary scorer, Wickline’s role as a reliable bench player provided depth to the Titans’ roster. His consistent effort in practice and games exemplified the importance of role players in a successful basketball program.
