Melbourne City Council to Consider Ordinance Seeks to Revise Composition Beautification, Energy Efficiency Board

Residents and interested parties are invited to attend the public meeting

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — The Melbourne City Council will consider the adoption of an ordinance about the City’s Beautification and Energy Efficiency Board, which includes amendments to Chapter 2 of the City Code, which addresses administrative functions.

The ordinance seeks to revise the composition of the board, outlining its duties and purpose.

Residents and interested parties are invited to attend the public meeting to express their views on the ordinance.

Those unable to attend in person may submit written comments before or during the meeting. Correspondence may be directed to the City Clerk at 900 East Strawbridge Avenue, Melbourne, FL 32901, or by email at city.clerk@mlbfl.org. The public hearing may be continued to a later date if necessary.

Following Section 286.0105 of the Florida Statutes, the City advises individuals who may wish to appeal any decision made during this meeting that a verbatim record of the proceedings is required. Such a record must include all testimony and evidence upon which the appeal would be based.
