2025 Community Forum Will Feature Public Officials, Set Oct. 9 at Front Street Civic Center in Melbourne

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The 2025 Annual Community Forum will take place on Thursday, October 9, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Front Street Civic Center, located at 2205 Front Street in Melbourne.
The annual event is designed to foster open dialogue between Brevard County residents, members of the judicial system, and law enforcement leaders.
Organizers emphasize the forum’s theme, “Together We Make a Difference,” reflecting a focus on community relations, building trust, and strengthening relationships.
Leaders will guide discussions on the various facets of criminal justice, police procedures, and local government, providing the public with an opportunity to engage directly with decision-makers.
This year’s panel brings together a wide range of agencies. From the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court, the Honorable Judge Aaron Peacock will participate, along with Michael Pirolo, the Brevard and Seminole Public Defender.
Law enforcement representation will include Melbourne Police Chief David Gillespie, Palm Bay Police Chief Mariano Augello, West Melbourne Police Chief Greg Vesta, and Commander Alex Fischback of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

• Rachel Richardson, Circuit Administrator for the Florida Department of Corrections
• Brevard Clerk of Courts Rachel Sadoff
• Code Enforcement Official Mark Herold
• Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic
• Brevard County Clerk and Comptroller
• State Attorney’s Office
Community members are encouraged to attend and take part in this important evening of dialogue, designed to strengthen communication between the public and the officials who serve them.
