BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Just in time for the busy holiday travel season, Port Canaveral has unveiled a major improvement designed to make the cruise experience smoother and safer for passengers.

Travelers aboard the Carnival Freedom returning to the port this week were the first to use a new debarkation ramp at Cruise Terminal 6.

Port officials say the upgrade underscores the port’s commitment to passenger comfort and operational safety at the world’s busiest cruise port. The enhanced system is expected to significantly improve traffic flow inside the terminal, particularly during peak sailing periods.
