Eastern Florida State College Men’s Tennis Team Defeats Millenia Atlantic University 9-0

Titans will return home next Friday to face United College at the Titan Tennis Center

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s tennis team picked up a victory Friday afternoon in the home opener at Titan Tennis Center.

The Titans defeated Millenia Atlantic University 9-0.

Eastern Florida State College picked up three points in doubles action as the duo of Fernando Martinez Belinchon and Zach Achour teamed up for the 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles.

The team of Pablo Garcia and Ignacio Sendra won 8-3 at No. 2 doubles, and Salva Serradilla and Johan Mottlau won 8-0 at No. 3 doubles.

Already up 3-0, the Titans continued their strong play in singles.

Belinchon won at No. 1 singles, scoring the 6-3, 6-2 victory, while Garcia won at No. 2 6-1, 6-3. Mottlau won his singles match at No. 3 6-3, 6-0, while Achour picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles.

Tomas Kurz Cardozo picked up a victory at No. 5 singles, winning 6-2, 6-0, while Sendra won at No. 6 singles 6-0, 6-0.

The Titans will return home next Friday to face United College at the Titan Tennis Center.
